An accomplished boulderer and climbing coach, most of Josh Harper’s climbing experience has been inside, in a climbing gym. Hailing from New Orleans, he didn’t imagine a mentorship programme would see him taking his first steps into a high mountain environment in the French Alps. After a conversation with mentor and friend, Andrew Alexander King, Josh didn’t need to be asked twice, and found himself travelling to Europe for the first time. After some days practising skills and learning new techniques, Josh takes his first steps into an entirely new world.
